UCCBI believes in as much interaction with the students as possible. We
feel that counseling, guidance, and prayer are required. Furthermore we
believe that student participation in forums, chats, emails, and other
forms of communications are the only ways to ensure accountability,
growth, and understanding.
Merely taking tests will not satisfy requirements to issue certificates
or degrees. There are many people with a very high biblical knowledge
who stubbornly and against their own better judgement lead very
unethical and ungodly lives. UCCBI has a responsibility to filter these
people out and try to protect the name of Christ's Church. Depending on
the level of the course or degree we may require references from your
church, family, friends, or ministry. A handbook will coming out soon
to help explain these processes.
In essence we operate under the principle of:
Education - Accountability - Edification: all of these require COMMUNICATION.
Our grading method is as follows:
Participation and communication with forums, students, and staff: 31%
Homework assignments (these are papers, book reports, activity reports, etc): 10%
Church participation (this would be the church you attend where you live): 10%
Christian character and / or ministry (this is the activities you do to share God's word and / or help the hurting, etc.): 20%
Test Scores: 29%
GRADING SCALE :
100 % to 90% Outstanding
70% to 89% Satisfactory
Below 70% Unsatisfactory
With modern communication technologies, communication has never been
easier. All the staff here at UCCBI wishes you the best and is eager to
serve you.
Sincerely yours In Christ
