Attention all students as of 9/29/09, Uccbi will no longer have available coursework in "English Studies."  If however you submit assignments in any of our Theology focused courses, and we feel that you need to touch up on your basic English skills first, we will make that requirement known to you.

• Level one: New Student start here!

  Like any school beginning a new course of study can be exciting, confusing, and for some a little daunting.  The courses listed in this section are for new students and should be completed before moving on to the next level.

• Course 1: The Gospel of Jesus Christ. file
• Course 2: Certificate of Christian Discipleship (13 lessons) file

• Once you have completed these courses please contact one of our administrators.  Remember there is no need to rush.

  

• Level 2: Primary Student. 

  Congratulations you finished level 1.  Now you face a very challenging level.  You will have the wisdom to make use of the forums and staff of UCCBI to help you and tutor you through.  All admin are available to help you and feel free to ask.

• Course 1: Diploma of Systematic Theology. Completion time; approximately three months to one year. file
• Course 2: Introduction to restoration movement and theology. Completion time less than one month. file
• Course 3: Survey of the New Testament. Completion time one to six months. file
• Finished? Great move on to the next level.

• 

  Level three: The Christian Worker degree - a one year bible degree

  You have completed a course that defeats nearly seven out of ten students!  Take some time and praise God that you had the perseverence to finish!  Afterwhich we have the next level to complete.  This level is a one year bible degree.  It is at this level most teachers, missionaries, and pastors take up their first positions in the ministry.  Complete this degree and you are halfway to the Associate's degree.  Because many students work on their AA and CW degrees simultaneously you may see courses posted in both degrees.  If you completed the course in one degree you completed it in both.

• Course 1: Christian Worker's Certificate. Completion time; six months to one year. file
• Course 2: Certificate of Elementary Christianity. Completion time; approximately four weeks file

• You finished already? Well good for you. A little hard work and then the harvest.  Well You have successfully completed your first Bible College degree.  A one year degree is an honorable level of training.  Even so if you are called I recommend proceeding to the next level of Associate's of Arts in Christian Studies (Theology).

• 

  Level four: Intermediary Worker- individual certificates

  This level focuses on courses helpful to your ministries.  We have placed these courses between the Christian Workers and Associate's deliberately. To give a you chance to pick up some needed skill sets for your immediate ministry.  We recommend completing these courses before attempting the Associate's program.  These courses are required for A.A. of Christian Studies (theology).

• Course 1: Certificate of Christian Healthcare Ministries (visitation, grief, etc). Completion time; approximately one month. file
• Course 2: Understanding and battling sexual addictions. Completion time: less than one month file

• 

  Level five: Associate of Arts in Christian Studies (Theology.) A two year degree.

  Now you are moving into more serious studies.  Stay committed to the course and you will succeed.  Commend yourself for coming this far and encurage yourself to keep going.  Believe it or not many working pastors do not have this level of training.  An associate's degree is recognized worldwide as a considerable amount of work applied towards your vocation. It says you are committed and that you have learned the basics. And you can never go wrong with the basics. Keep up the good work. Note: remember some of these courses would have appeared already in the Christian Workers degree and as such you do not have to complete them twice.

• Course 1: Associate of Arts in Christian Studies. Completion time; one to four years. file

• 

  Level six: Advanced Bible Student.  Individual Associates Degree in Missions:

  Again we have courses that are useful for your edification but not part of the normal degree.  We feel they are necessary and useful to your ministry. Please consider completing these if you are planning to go out on the missions field. Prerequisites are The Gospels, Christian Discipleship, Systematic Theology and English.

• Course 1: Healthy Christian Lifestyles file
• Course 2: Teaching English as a Second Language Certificate (a definite missionary skill). Completion time; one to three months. file
• Course 3: Public Health 101 Completion time: Approx two weeks file

  Bachelor Christian Theology.

• Course 1: Bachelor of Christian Theology. Completion time: Approx four years. file
